My name is William, and as some of you have read, I am the newest member of the EOM team.

I joined EOM not just because of what it is right now (a bloody awesome site!), but what it has potential to become.

Imagine...
-A site with 1000's of videos on all areas of magic, from cards to coins to mentalism to hypnotism and everything in between.
-A site that not only helps people learn tricks, but become MAGICIANS. We don't want webcam magicians, we want to help people gain the confidence and showmanship to go out there and PERFORM to people, and share the magic.
-A site where we can combine the expertise of dozens of magicians from all around the world and share their knowledge with you.
-A magic shop built for magicians, professional recommendations depending on skills and needs, with no-bullshit reviews on each product.
-Innovative and interactive ways to make learning and teaching magic easier than ever before.
-A community that not only hangs out, but shares, teaches and ultimately help everyone in the community become better magicians.

I have just spent 4 days with the founders of EOM, discussing plans, ideas and goals, and I can tell you what I have just mentioned was only the tip of the iceberg.

But something we kept going back to is the importance of a community that can help drive this project forward. We want to revolutionize the way people learn and perform magic, and we want you to be a part of it.

How can you help?

1) Spread the word via Forum Signatures
Most forums around the web allow you to have a forum signature and usually a link to your website/blog. Even in profiles, there is usually a website field. Spread the word about EOM and change your forum signature to include Encyclopedia of Magic! If you do put it in your signature, please PM me about it, I want to know!

2) Building the community
Have a spare 10 minutes everyday? Hop in the forum and see if there is anyone needing help or if you have something you want to share. It only takes you 10 minutes, but if everybody spends 10 minutes, we'll have an awesome active community.

3) Join in our first webinar
Join the chat with the founders tomorrow and share your ideas and feedback of the site so far. We love to hear your input! EOM would not be where it is without you guys, and we can't be what we can be, without you either!

In the next week or 2, we will also be giving prizes to the people who we think are contributing alot to the community. (We haven't forgotten you!) And also creating a referral program to help you and reward you for spreading the word about EOM.

Alright William! Amazing post, I cant wait to see all of the great changes. EOM definitely has potential. I am sure EOM will be a very successful website for a long, long time. The videos are of a high quality, the forums are great, everyone is INSANELY nice and last but not least the price for the website is VERY cheap. I would pay $10.00 just for the forums since they are so helpful. One thing that needs improvement though is the Chatroom, it seems no one is ever on. I have been trying to chat with people on there as much as I can and made a post on how to use it just in case thats why people dont use it, they might not know what it is or how it works.

Aww that sucks, are you sure though? Nothing on the bottom of your screen that says chatrooms or looks like a speech bubble? Hmm, thats weird. Oh well. Hopefully you can work it out. :D
