I want to share with you all a story last night, I was out with a few friends at a bar and I happened to have enough courage in me after a few drinks and started to get a little chatty. Still being the nervous little boy I am inside I still didn't really have the courage yet to walk up to this girl who I just thought was beautiful. But I some how mustered up the confidence to pretend she dropped a coin which I dropped... I did a simple retention vanish (which I just learn from the boys a week or so ago) and it blew her away!! I then carried on to do another two simple tricks and I am just buzzing still how magic has given me the opportunity to talk to such a beautiful girl and now I have her contact details D: still feels unreal ahah - sorry if it seems like I am bragging....... It is just amazing how everybody does love magic and that by knowing magic you open doors that may never have been open. I have no idea if this even makes sense but thats my little story! =)
Haha thats awesome man. That fake coin drop thing was taught to me by Jay Sankey in one of his "Bending the Real" videos. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2l2XdyC0-o
Usually besides a coin, you can use an interesting object, just to get a conversation going.
Eg "Hi, i think you might of dropped this",
"nah thats not mine,"
"oh, it sure is pretty isnt it?" .........
Man that's an amazing story! This is an example that simple trick can cause big reactions! Scott Jay's bends are just amazing!Simple and entertaining! :)
