A place to chat? Why is that a bad thing?
Sometimes you want to share something but don't think it's worth making a whole thread about.
Something like "Yay I got a 93 on my Micro exam!!" or something, this is the place to post it!
It helps members get to know one another because everywhere else you just post magic-related stuff, here you post life-related stuff :)
I don't know man, seems like spam heaven to me. But sure, we'll see where this goes.

And this thread is in it ... so I'm not understanding the issue lol.
Like if I wanted a place to talk about Battlefield 3 or something, I'd make a "Battlefield 3" thread. But if I just wanted to say "I got a new phone and I'm excited about it!" then that's not really worthy of a whole thread, but now you have a place to say it. :)
Just a nice little place to chat with members until (if) we get a chatroom/shoutbox.
Maybe we can get EoM to make Off-Topic section not add to Post Count to alleviate your spam concerns.

Hey Strat first congrats on being mod once again! :) I have got the day off today so just spending it practising magic and trying to talk infront of a camera to get rid of some nerves, Vinh said I should do that and soon or later it would get easier.... it is getting HARDER D: but I am going to keep going heheh

Haha yeah dude I know it! It's like learning to talk to girls again xD
But really, if you just start out in a safe atmosphere like with your friends or something, you'll realize how fun it is to mystify people and you'll get hooked :)
I'm trying to decide if I should make more trick tutorials right now ... Maybe I should just wait for requests lol, I think I'm putting them out so fast nobody is learning them haha
